Expected Code of Conduct Be quiet, courteous, and respectful when others are talking and working. Work constructively during group work time. Stay positive! Side conversations during instruction are unacceptable. If you break one of the rules, you will be given one warning. After the first warning, you will will be directed to a seat at the back of the classroom. This is a "Point Out". Once you have shown self control, you will be directed to retake your seat. If you continue to break the rules of the class, you will be sent out of class and receive a class participation grade of zero. Class participation is 30% of your grade. The second time you are sent from the class, you will write a letter of apology - a formal letter with correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling to Mrs. Hicks and your classmates for wasting our time and to your parents for wasting their money. The letter will go home for your parents to sign.
